new creative director at Balenciaga

Balenciaga exists for almost 100 years. Its position is unshakable  it's like Dior once said about Cristóbal Balenciaga 'master of us all'. After that Cristóbal closed a fashion house complaining that there's no one more to be clothed (1968) and died 4 years later.
During his tenure people were increasing their risk of 'getting hit' during the II World War just to go to Europe and see the master's work on their own. But after his death the brand become a little bit nostalgic. There was absolutely nothing going on. Even the rescue of Michel Goma (1987) and Josephus Thimister (1992) was in vain. The breakthrough happened when the position of  Creative Director was taken by Nicolas Ghesquière in 1997. Thanks to him - the house appeared in the big league of fashion as far as creativity and selling are concerned and the CEO of Gucci, Domenico De Sole once said 'Balenciaga has one nice of an asset. It's called Nicolas Ghesquière'.
The fashion world trambled when a few day ago the new come out about the end of cooperation of Nicolas with Balenciaga. 'what's now', 'it's over' - these phrases where shouted by many in the game. Balenciaga couldn't just make a one year off, as it was in the Dior case.
The list of candidates were created as soon as it was possible. The little bird told me that among them we can find Alexander Wang, Joseph Altuzarra, Marry Katrantzou, J.W. Anderson, Thomas Tait and Christopher Kane. But will anyone be equal to the challenge? Is someone able to take the Nicolas' Legacy and not the screw it up? I'm not to sure. There's only hope there's someone to know better. At the end Christopher Kane was the one who had been chosen. Fingers crossed. I just hope that despite of it, the blood will float, and if not, chopped fingers wouldn't be chopped ones up the spout.

Balenciaga istnieje od prawie stu lat. Ma niezachwianą pozycję, a Dior niegdyś powiedział, o Cristóbal Balenciaga  ‘master of us all’.
Nazywa się on Nicolas Ghesquière’.
Anderson, Thomas Tait i Christopher Kane.
